Penguin Class Homework (12.09.2023) 

Reading 

Please read for at least 15 minutes every day and record in your reading record. On a Monday, if you have read to an adult/sibling three times in the previous week (it must be in your reading record), you will earn two house points. 

 

Times tables (tested weekly) 

Once a week, you will be tested on your times tables so please practice them at home.

By the end of Year 2, you should be able to recall the 2, 5 and 10 times tables as well as the division facts.

By the end of Year 3, you should be able to recall the 3, 4 and 8 times tables as well as the division facts.

By the end of Year 4, you should be able to recall all times tables up to 12x12. 

6, 7 and 9s

Spellings (tested every Tuesday – Tuesday 26th September) 

Every Wednesday, you will be tested on your spellings. The spellings will be available the Wednesday before. You are in the same group every week unless told otherwise. You are encouraged to write your spelling score in your reading record so please ensure these are in school.
